TEN FEATURES

Here are just ten of the features we can provide to deliver your promotional message to the sportsworld's most receptive audience.

1. It's Popular!
From the Super Speedways of the United States with their nationally celebrated stars to the short tracks throughout Canada with their local heroes, auto racing continues to be North America's fastest growing spectator sport.

2. Enhanced Corporate Image
Nowhere does a medium provide advertisers with a more powerful, dynamic, unique and impactful marketing vehicle for the promotion of their products, services or corporate image. Combining the colourful paint schemes and imaginative graphics on the cars and transporters with the electrifying action on the speedways and Stock Car Racing transcends in a powerful marketing and entertainment medium. Create a "High Performance, Winning Market Leader" image with a Motorsports Marketing program that conveys competitiveness, innovation and a winning attitude.

3. Increased Corporate Visibility
Buying commercial time on a televised event, a spot ad on radio or a display in the print media receives only seconds or minutes worth of exposure. But when a company chooses to participate in the event itself, it receives thousands of lasting impressions throughout the course of the event. By building on this participation, companies can gain valuable additional marketing opportunities.

4. A Popular And Proven Medium
Corporate America, including Fortune 500 companies, has embraced auto racing like no other sport. Hundreds of companies from virtually every business sector have used their motorsports association to promote brand awareness and ultimately boost sales. And it's steadily becoming a growing part of Canadian business' marketing strategy to reach consumers.

5. Cost Effective
Auto racing is not only the fastest growing spectator sport, it is -as many companies are discovering- the most effective way of building brand loyalty. In a cover story on NASCAR, Fortune Magazine quoted DuPont's president, Lou Savelli as saying, "Stock car racing is huge with our customers". We feel we receive a return of $5 for every $1 we spend on the racing program. No sport attracts more corporate sponsorship dollars Market research has shown that sponsorship results in sales with 81% of race fans purchasing products or services of companies involved in motorsports.

6. The Right Market Mix
The market segment attached to motorsports events is typically young to middle age, well-educated, upwardly mobile males and females with disposable, discretionary income. They associate Motorsports with a progressive upscale image. Recent statistics have shown that motorsports fans are affluent, educated, upscale, brand loyal consumers. And because of the reasonable admission prices, families are enjoying great entertainment for less than the cost of going to the local movie theatres.

7. Flexibility
Most sports marketing programs have a fixed price tag, and offer little flexibility. A well-planned, integrated motorsports program can be tailored to fit any budget. They are extremely flexible and can be developed to achieve specific business goals and objectives.

8. A Range of Options
Motorsports teams can offer a range of marketing options that vary from national to regional to local depending on sponsorship interests. They include a wide variety of traditional forms of media with television the paramount form. Race reports on sports reporting telecasts along with coverage in newspapers and an increasing number of dedicated motorsports publications provide enormous exposure for a fraction of what a paid commercial or display ad costs.

9. Canadia's NASCAR Canadian Tire Series
NASCAR sets the pace in Canadian auto racing scene through its Canadian Tire Series. The Series is broadcast on TSN and is designed to reach the hardcore fan as well as the casual motorsports television viewer. With series events held from coast to coast and major support roles in two of Canada's largest motorsports extravaganzas - the Edmonton Grand Prix and the NASCAR Nationwide Series weekend in Montreal, series teams get an opportunity to deliver their sponsors' marketing messages in the most electrifying and colourful  way imaginable

10. The Right Team
HB Motorsports is a group of dedicated individuals who combine their efforts into making a team that's competitive and professional. Each member of the team is aware that their sponsors are an integral part of their success and take every opportunity available to share in the marketing.

WIN NUMBER 10 SLOW IN COMING FOR BROWN

Despite a torrid pace through the 20-car starting field it looked as though Mitch Brown had come one car short of registering his tenth feature win of the season at Ohsweken Speedway on August 21st.

The youngster who started 12th but was late breaking out of the tightly bunched pack of Mini Stocks set for battle in the their feature event of the evening and appeared to be set for a tenth to seventh place finish in the 15-lap dash. But a caution flag late in the race bunched the field and it was all he needed to set himself up for a late race charge that fell a lap short in his bid to the victory.  It appeared to be only the third time that the teenager hadn't taken the winner's trophy in the 2009 season

But wait a minute. A feature race isn't over official over until post-race inspection.

The ESSO Mini Stock feature began with Chase Hess and Mike Giberson on the front row, and it was Hess getting the early lead, which he would hold for much of the first half of the race. While a good battle ensued up front between Hess and Mike Evers, fans were also keeping an eye on Brown, who was gunning for his tenth feature win of the season after finishing second to Ohsweken's Steve Hess the previous Friday.
